There are ghostly rumours of a British commander who was killed here, and the location has a gloomy past. After coming to Kota and settling here with his family, Major Charles Burton was assassinated by Indian soldiers in 1857 during the Sepoy Mutiny.
It’s supposed that his spirit now resides in the palace. Although the ghost is supposedly benign, it frequently senses the presence of guests, security personnel, and others.
Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb, Delhi
The Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb in Delhi is one of the many haunted locations in India. Said to be haunted, the Mehrauli archaeological complex contains the mosques of Kamali (whose background is uncertain) and Jamali, two well-known Sufi poets. It is also claimed that this less well-known tourist destination in Delhi was the first to establish the Mughal architectural style, complete with jharokhas and carvings that were absent from previous structures and monuments.

The Lambi Dehar mines were formerly operational, but hundreds of miners died as a result of unsafe working conditions and a lack of safety precautions. Hundreds of victims’ spirits are rumored to haunt the site today.
